Web Design update

At this time, I will not longer be opening Web Design commissions.  Since having a baby, I do not have the amount of free time need to be able to work on one.  I may do a few easy ones if I have the time, but for the most part I will be concentrating more on image design and photography.

Book Covers for T.M. Simmons

My good friend Trana commissioned me to make some new book covers for her Dead Man series, which she is getting ready to re-release on Amazon as Kindle books.

The most difficult part of making the covers was finding stock images on deviantArt that would allow commercial use.  I tried looking through a few of the stock websites, but the prices they ask for stock is ridicules.  iStockPhoto wanted almost $200 for one.

The stories themselves are a mix of supernatural mystery and humor.  I tried to get that across with the covers.  The first one, Dead Man Talking, came out okay, but I really love how the Dead Man Haunt cover came out.  I was lucky to find the skunk image.

Update

I've been extremely lax and haven't really put a lot of time into this blog since my parenting blog has taken off.  However, that's going to change.  In the next week of so, I'm going to start getting some of my photography up and maybe even some of the digital works as well.

I'm also going to be working on some book cover art for a friend of mine.  I'll post some more details on that later.
